    Description

    Up for auction is a beautiful vintage siphon or seltzer bottle made by Sparklets Ltd. of London, England. This Art Deco classic features thick glass covered in a wire mesh and topped in chrome. The top screws off to reveal
    "DO NOT FILL ABOVE RED LINE - MADE IN ENGLAND." The top stem is also marked
    "SPARKLETS LTD - MAKERS -LONDON" and the cap is marked
    "USE ONE BULB ONLY."
    It measures approximately 13.5" high x 4.5" in diameter and weighing over five pounds.
    The bottle is in great condition considering it's age. Overall, the chrome is shiny and smooth with only a small blister on the spout (3rd photo). The mesh is clean with only slight oxidation in one area (last photo), but it is completely intact with no breaks or issues. When I purchased the bottle it had water in it and it was pressurized when I opened it. I have not repressurized it but I have tested it to ensure that it has no leaks. The seal is still good, but you can see where it has transferred some to the top of the bottle (4th from last photo). This is a cool vintage piece, but I have not used it and must sell it "as is."
