War With the South, Robert Tomes, Three Volume Set 1867 - Discounted

"War With the South: A History of the Great American Rebellion", by Robert Tomes, MD.  Virtue & Co. publishers, NY.  Issued as a serial during the conflict, later combined into this three-volume set c. 1867.  Leather & board binding, spines sound and in generally good shape, the covers themselves showing more wear, some typical "shelf wear" along board edges/corners. Unfortunately, this suffered some water damage producing light staining into the pages. This was somewhat irregular and the three volumes show the effect to different degrees.  In some cases, page corners only, other pages to perhaps close to 1/2 the width.  Some pages appear to not show any signs of staining.  Boards remain flat without warpage (other than minor bending which was probably there due to age before the "great flood").  Unfortunate to be sure however certainly still suitable as a reading copy and some pages with illustrations could be salvaged if someone wanted to "part this out".  NO MOLD OR MILDEW noted, again other than perhaps the normal flyspecks/foxing present on a text of this age.  Difficult to price due to the damage, so a
