Description
Offered in this listing is a vintage silver spoon bearing the hallmark of the Swedish town of Koeping. This mark was used until the middle of the 17th century. The attribution for this spoon is obtained from the bookOLD SILVER
by Seymour Wyler. The information is contained on pages 386 and 394. It is a two piece spoon as one of this period would be. There is a scratched monogram at the top of the underside of the spoon. The bowl is hand hammered. A makers mark is present but not listed in the book. The spoon is 8 1/2 inches long. The bowl is 1 3/4 inches wide at it's widest point, I have not polished the spoon as one man's tarnish is another man's patina.
Sold with my usual no-hassle money-back return policy. Buyer pays .00 mailing cost for U.S. delivery.
