VINTAGE Hotel Taft Etched Clear GLASS SELTZER Bottle

Description

Hotel Taft Brand Seltzer Bottle Made in N.Y. The bottle has a very nice etching on the side of The Hotel Taft Crest. The bottle is clear and is etched at Hotel Taft Fides Et Audax New York. The Spigot Works and is marked Jacks Beverages. The Hotel Taft opened for business in 1912 as Hotel Manger. In 1926 the Hotel was renamed the Hotel Taft after President William Howard Taft in 1931.
The bottle has some scratches and a tiny age pitting. The glass straw is in very good condition. The bottle has a whiite mark on the inside and clearly needs to be opened and cleaned. The bottom side of the bottle has the number 24. The glass has a shape imperfection.
The bottle is not for use but for display purposes only.
