*Up for sale here is a scarce painted label acl coca cola western seltzer bottle from the northern California town of Susanville, Ca. The condition of this vintage Lassen County siphon is very good to excellent as seen here, with barely any wear. The old clear glass is sparkling clean. The orange acl pyro lettering on the bottle is excellent, as seen here. This siphon would date from 1935, as indicated by the embossed date code on the base. This is very early date for an acl bottle.
*This example has been packed away since the early 1960's from an old seltzer man, in his old rickety two story garage in the Los Angeles area. Bottle is in the larger 36 ounce capacity size.
*It boldly reads in the orange acl lettering ~ "SUSANVILLE COCA COLA / BOTTLING CO. / SUSANVILLE, CALIF." On the base it is embossed ~ "18 <0> 5", for the 1935 date. The base edge has seen some smooth surface wear, from use long ago. The removable spritzer top is marked ~ "Fred's Spark". The glass straw will be included as well. Bottle measures 12 inches tall to the spout top, and 4 inches in diameter.
*This seltzer will proudly dress up the classic western back bar, vintage soda fountain area, as well as the perfect steam punk set up. A nice vintage piece of coke bottling history from the West.
