This copy is in a great condition in its original dust
jacket.
Van Campen Heilner appears to have led a charmed
life traveling and fishing across the country and down
into the Caribbean during a time when so few people
were taking such adventures and it was all new.
Heilner fishes the west coast of Florida for tarpon,
the east coast for sailfish, and then down to the
Keys
for some more tarpon.  Then it’s off to the Bahamas
for some great fishing and then out to San Clemente
to catch some marlin.  Salmon, barracuda, sawfish
and just about anything else that swims, Heilner is on it.
This book is filled with great stories and great
photos of fishing all over the country and
down in the Caribbean.
A very difficult to find and early salt water fishing title
in its even scarcer excellent condition dust jacket.
You won't find another copy like this any time soon.
