    Description

SHIPYARD BREWING GOAT ISLAND LIGHT draft beer tap handle. Portland, Maine. They first began brewing back in 1992. Now Shipyard is partners with the Sea Dog Brewing Company and Casco Bay Brewing Company. They also produce beer under contract for Gritty McDuff's Brewing Company. They now have many labels. Goat Island really exists. It's actual name is Newport Harbor Lighthouse. It rests in Cape Porpoise Harbor in Kennebunkport, Maine. Early resident would take their goats to pasture there. Goat Island was a light beer with 3.9%ABV. Retired a long time ago. No more info available. This tap was the original style they used back in the late 1990's. It remains in excellent condition. Almost no wear at all. Hand painted on a natural stone like handle paying homage to goat and his lighthouse. Very heavy. Not many like this around anymore. Rare. 8-1/2 inches tall.
Tap has been turned and rotated so that all sides are pictured. This is the actual item you will receive. Stand is not included in this sale.
