    Description

Up for bid is a set of seven early Northern European bright-cut engraved teaspoons.  The spoons are 5 ½ inches long and together weigh 79 grams. They have swaged rounded drops on the bowl backs and downturned sharply-pointed handles with bright-cut engraving on the front.  The spoons are prick-engraved “JAS” on the handle backs.  They are marked with  a key in a rectangle and a script “F” in a square as shown.  I have not been able to place these marks.
Condition on the spoons is fairly good.  There are some stubborn spots, minor bowl dings and some handle bends.  Some nice old silver spoons!
