This is a heavy metal model of a Locomotive Engine which has a clock inside and a small light in the cab. The clock is about 14" long, 6" tall and about 3 " wide and weighs about 18 pounds. Everything is believed to be original and there are some minor dings, missing paint, etc which I tried to picture. All wiring is original and the clock and light both work. This item is generally known as a TV clock and they came in different styles. The purpose was two fold. During the day it was a decorative piece that displayed the time and sat on top of the TV console. At night in the 1950' you would turn on the 7 1/2 watt night light bulb which emitted a soft glow into the dark room while watching TV. This was supposed to prevent blindness as we were told. Please ask any questions or if additional photos are needed.
