    The Portable Winch works on a capstan principle where there is no limit to the length of rope used. Tie the rope to the object needing to be pulled and wind the rope 3-4 times around the drum. The drum continues to rotate while the engine is running and the friction generated by pulling on the free end of the rope pulls the object.
    This kit will come in handy for bringing down hung-up trees, pulling heavy logs, retrieving game, getting vehicles stuck out of the mud, and much more.
