This is a NOS ORIGINAL Anti-Theft Alarm Lock Switch to fit 1968-1970 Corvette. GM #3937671. 1968, 1969 and 1970 Corvettes (thru late 1970, approximate VIN 11750, or a build date of around June 11, 1970) could be ordered with an optional alarm system (RPO code UA6). The alarm switch was located on the rear panel, above the Corvette emblem. The alarm switch was made by Briggs & Stratton and the switch used B&S keys, not GM keys. A pair of matched keys came with the car and therefore for NCRS judging you need to have a pair of matched keys. Auction is for part exactly as pictured. Comes with (2) original Briggs & Stratton keys with key codes stamped on the keys, and retainer nut and washer. This is not the later replacement type switch with Strattec keys. The key comes out in both positions. Ever price getting your locks re keyed at the locksmith? Hey they charge more than doctors! Doesn't hurt to have spares. We have locks for most cars, just ask. This part is out of production.
