    Description

For sale is a boxed pair of Finnish 813 silver fiddle shell pattern servers by H. Kaksonen of Helsinki. The spoon is 6 3/8 inches long, the fork is 6 5/8 inches, and together they weigh 51 grams.  The spoon bowl is lightly gilded.  The pieces have a standard fiddle pattern with an embossed elongated shell on the front.  The spoons are monogrammed “MH” on the handle fronts and are dated “1930” on the backs.  The pieces have an [H.K] maker’s mark, a crown, [813H], a Helsinki town mark and an [A6] date code for 1930.  The spoons come in their original black paper box with pink satin liner, stamped with a maker’s name inside the lid.
Condition on the pieces is very good.  They are just lightly used, and the box has minor wear.  A fine pair of servers.
