1) TSR Face logo
1) Cover: Wizard logo
2) Cover: "Advanced D&D" in an angled yellow banner; the red letters of "Advanced D&D" now have white highlights, and has a "TM" designation after it
3) Cover: "Monster Manual" title at top
4)  Spine: "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" in white lettering (altough several copies have been spotted with "Advanced D&D" instead)
5) Spine: States "by Gary Gygax"
6) ISBN on spine, rear cover, and title page
7) Endpapers and flyleaves are white (though a red-colored copy has been spotted -- further confirmation on this needed, since the sequence has been re-done since this was submitted)
Still states "4th Edition, August 1979" on the copyright page
By far the most common of all the Monster Manual prints
There's more but this is enough to identify this copy as a fifth edition
