Jason's Auctions presents a nice solid copy of the true 1st edition Monster Manual for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons by Gary Gygax and TSR. The 1st print has all the identifying marks on front cover, 2009 lower left corner, TM under red AD&D logo and Lizard icon next to the TSR Games address. The interior has the Red Fly Leaf paper. The book is solid but used and has some wear all around as typical for a used but not abused copy of this hardcover. The interior is complete all pages accounted for 112. Many of the interior pages have marker coloring many of the art scenes and creatures, either fully or partially, see pictures for examples. The markers bleed through lightly but not enough to affect the ability to see anything on the other side of the page. I did not see any writing in the book. A very solid copy of this scarce book with not many of these true first prints have survived over the many years since release.
