    Description

    The Lehigh Valley Railroad operated the famous John Wilkes and the Black Diamond high speed passenger trains.  This clock features the John Wilkes.  The corporate logo was a flag inside a diamond of coal.  That logo stands in for the numbers on the face of this clock.
    The clock can be mounted on a wall or placed on a mantle or a table.
    The clock has a quartz movement operated by an AA battery - not included.  An added feature is a sweep second hand.
    The walnut case is finished with a linseed oil blend followed by polyurethane to enhance the beautiful wood grain.  Wood screws hold the base to the frame and dowels attach the top piece to the sides. A sheet of plexiglass completes the clock.
