*Up for sale here is a very scarce etched hand blown western coca cola seltzer bottle from the town of Santa Maria, California. The condition of this siphon is very good to excellent as seen here, with barely any wear. The old clear glass is sparkling clean. The etching advertising on the bottle is also very good. This siphon would date into the teens era. Displays very handsomely.
*This example has been packed away since the early 1960's from an old seltzer man, in his old rickety two story garage in the Los Angeles area. Bottle is in the larger 36 ounce capacity size.
*It handsomely reads in an etched rectangular frame ~ "COCA-COLA / BOTTLING CO. / SANTA MARIA." I love the large and earlier style of script lettering on this example. The base is lightly etched ~ "Siphon Made By Schneier / Made In / Czechoslovakia / 19APC35". The old thick base has seen some smooth surface wear, from use long ago. The removable spritzer top is marked ~ "Sam Green". The glass straw will be included as well. Bottle measures 12 inches tall to the spout top, and 4 inches in diameter.
*This seltzer will proudly dress up the classic western back bar, vintage soda fountain area, as well as the perfect steam punk set up. A nice vintage piece of coke bottling history from the West.
*The metal spritzer top will be taken off for safer shipping, when promptly sent out.
