DEVIL MOUNTAIN TASMANIAN PALE ALE draft beer tap handle. Walnut Creek, California. First opened in 1987. Closed in 1995. Operating out of an abandoned Railroad Station at the foot of Mount Diablo in Walnut Creek. Tried to reopen in a different location but... Tasmanian Pale Ale. Piney, grassy, grainy, hoppy. 5.8%ABV. Toasted malts and a touch of honey. Tap has been used but remains in excellent condition. Made to look rustic and old. Usually these get beat up fast and lose the bell, parts of the rail and the plaque gets chipped. This one is pretty clean. Super cool locomotive with a big gray cloud of smoke belching out of the stack. Vintage look. The front of an old time coal powered locomotive set on a short track. Awesome piece. Paper label for bartender identification on back. Sculpture Concepts copyright '97 inscribed under back in rear. Very heavy. 9-1/2 inches to the top of the smoke.
