Description
An unusual Antique Danish silver serving spoon measuring 10.25" long, the pattern is seems to have a blend of Egyptian Revival and Modern style, it was made by V. Christensen of Copenhagen and it bears silver hallmarks from 1883. It also has two hallmarks where the handle joins the back of the bowl, one appears to be a winged putti carring a table or tools, there is also a set of marks that looks like CP INV, but I'm not positive, it's a little rubbed. Condition overall is excellent, weight is 2.58 troy ounces.
