Description

This is hydraulic conversion kit for a Granberg chainsaw mill. This may fit other brands, but it was designed to fit the Granberg. It was mounted to a 72” mill and would fit longer or shorter models with some modification. The mill and bar are not included. The conversion was designed to run off a high-flow skid steer, but would also work with a tractor with a PTO pump. Any machine that has 25gpm and 3,000+ psi. The motor is controlled by a 12v DC electric solenoid that would need to be sourced. Each operator has a “deadman” style control. One on the lead side and two switches on the trail side. The trail side handles are wired in parallel so the operator doesn’t need both hands on the handle at all times. Releasing the handles will stop the saw. A master switch arms the controls and turns the electric oil pump on. The bar oil injectors are included. A spare speed control is included. Hoses and couplers are included. I believe the hoses are 25-30’ long. The hoses are heavy and bulky and will need to be shipped separate from the mill parts. EBay isn't set up for multiple package shipments so I had to mark this “for local pickup”. Make no doubt, I'm willing to ship for actual cost - no markup, packaging, or handling fees. The mill worked very well, but the motor has excessive internal leakage and will need to be rebuilt before it can be put to work. The hydraulic performance is comparable to a pair of 660 power head's, but with dramatically more reliability and less fuel consumption/noise.
