- 197 pages - Parchment - 26 x 20 x 3 cm - beautifully illustrated with 1 full page engraving, very sharp and powerful ...and many very fine large initials and decorations....
In good condition. Parchment slightly frayed under, along the corner edges. Interior a bit spotty. Otherwise  good. Complete and solid.

In fair condition. Crack along the spine on both sides. Front cover loosening, but still attached. Interior excellent. Silver perfect.

Contemporary overlapping vellum  (xxiv),672,(xliv) pp. - Canon law modelled on the Institutes of Justinian with the concord of Germania and commentary on the rules of law in the six books of the Decretals. - Good copy Henricus Canisius (Nijmegen 1562 - Ingolstadt 1610) belonged to the same distinguished family as Peter Canisius, who was his uncle. The first edition of this book appeared in 1594 at Ingolstadt where he was appointed professor of canon law.
In good condition. Binding a bit spotty. Small crack spine under, but firm. Interior clean & fresh. Some contemp. manuscript on coversheets and titlepage.
