    Description

This lovely solid silver tea strainer from Norway was someone's Christmas Eve present on 12/24/1920.  I have attributed the piece to Theodore Olsen based on an identical piece I found with that hallmark.  However, please note this piece does not show a manufacturer's hallmark, only "830S", which is the Norwegian silver purity hallmark in use from 1892 to 1920.
The handle end is monogramed "C. H.".  On reverse, the date (in European format) appears: 24-12-20.
    Silver weight is 52 grams.
The piece is 7" long.  The Round strainer portion is 2 7/8" in diameter.  It has a depth profile of 3/4".
There is normal miniscule surface scratches usual for a piece of this age.  There are no mentionable issues, such as dents or bends.  This is definitely in good giftable condition.
Shipped with USPS First Class Package.  Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping.
The item listed is being sold as is, as pictured and as described to the best of my knowledge.  If you have a question on an item prior to purchase, please ask. Remember, when buying vintage expect imperfections as these items have a history and have been in the possession of others. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition – this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
Please see "About me" for the contract  legalese.  Boring, I know, but essential.
