Presented is an antique, Dutch silver pie, cake or pastry server made in 1925. This Art Nouveau style piece is decorated with openwork flourishes and flowers. The base is cast with an interesting scene of a group of warriors or soldiers and a man near a barrell.
The piece is marked with the lion passant for a minimum of .833 purity silver, the Dutch Minerva head mark, a date letter P for the year 1925 and a maker's mark of the initials BV.
This piece is in great condition for its age and the designs are crisp.
