Chrysler, Dodge and DeSoto.
This class part was never boxed from Chrysler and typically spent 50 years on a nail in a dealers basement prior to my rescuing it.
It has zero cosmetic value. I have inspected and lubricated the lock and it performs as it should.
The weathering may be a good thing. A search of current ebay offering shows my latch to be half price. It is not for one saving trophies but for one who likes to save
$$$$.
