Covering all aspects including personages from the area including Salem & Saybrook, places, institutions, commerce, religion up into the 1930's. With many illustrations, photos & maps in the text, as well as 56 pages of local business's  & people ads including both NJ senators, congressmen, etc.etc. A class act & a nice copy: light cloth wear to bottom front board edge, else cover & spine gilt bright, bound tight & internally clean throughout, VG+.
