Item up for bid is an impressive oversized book by Leroy Armstrong titled "Pictorial Atlas Illustrating The Spanish American War". This book was published in 1898 and is packed with numerous illustrations, text, statistics and information about the very recent conflict for when this was published. First page (blank page) has an inscription from where it was given as a gift in 1899. Front and back cover showing surface wear and cover fading with edges and corners throughout showing wear and tear with butt and crown of the spine showing the most notable examples. Book measures 14-3/4" top to bottom by 11-3/4" wide by 3/4ths of an inch thick. Wonderful piece that comes fresh to the market. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
