  • Condition: Manuscript book on Theology and misc. Normal wear from being from the late 1500’s to early 1600’s . Beautiful very small neat calligraphy from the time. Pages have wormholes mostly around the edges of the pages, and going through some words here and there, but mostly in the unwritten areas. Pages are very thin, but very sturdy. I am amazed at the beautiful tiny writing throughout. Some pages are pretty dark ink, and some are lighter but all is very readable if you know the language, which I do not. Book exterior, is worn, but very solid and tight. With bumped corners . Beautiful patina in its entirety. Edges of pages are all uniform, as you can see in the photos. Measures about 9 x 7 x 2 inches. Approximately 872 pages written on, or half as many leaves (both sides).
